KJZZ Commemorates Statehood with Arizona Week

KJZZ is celebrating Arizona's birthday with a weeklong series of special news reports and acoustic jazz programming.
Beginning February 12 and continuing through the 19th, KJZZ will produce daytime news features that will air during Morning Edition, Here & Now and All Things Considered. During Arizona Week listeners will hear interesting stories they won't hear anywhere else. Topics will take listeners to around the state to hear about Arizona's wine industry; the Titan missile museum; Sonora and Ray, Arizona, two towns which were destroyed to create a copper mine; the state of Arizona's cattle industry; and more.
Evening Host Blaise Lantana will showcase Arizona’s fine jazz artists throughout the week. Check the daily schedule for Arizona Week topics, featured artists and specific air times.
