Students Rally at Capitol for Immigrant Rights
( Phoenix, AZ )There was another day of protests at the state capitol Tuesday, where as many as a thousand students rallied for immigrant rights. This on the heels of Friday's massive demonstration in downtown Phoenix, and similar protests around the country. KJZZ's Rene Gutel reports.

AZ Professor in Ghana for Eclipse
( Phoenix, AZ )A rare celestial event takes place late tonight. A total eclipse of the sun. Unfortunately it won't be seen anywhere in the Southwest, or in North America at all, but in parts of Africa. An Arizona astrophysicist will be in Ghana to witness the eclipse and lead a conference on African astronomy. KJZZ's Rene Gutel reports.

World Baseball Classic
( Phoenix, AZ )Team USA plays its first game in the World Baseball Classic at Chase field in Phoenix today. The 16 nation tournament has been designed by Major League Baseball to promote the game internationally, and lots of the game's biggest names are here in town. Many of the players who compete in the big leagues in the US during the regular season are playing for their native countries in the classic, which could level the playing field, and make for more competitive games.
