Reporter, Latino Affairs

Nadine is a Chicago native who comes from a lengthy background of broadcasting both in commercial and public broadcasting stations. Her broadcasting career includes Comiskey Park and United Center Scoreboard Operations, on-air reporting for Univision affiliate WCIU-TV Channel 26 and Tribune Company’s ChicagoLand Television News, and producer of a bilingual television parenting program on both Telemundo and WYCC-TV Channel 20 in Chicago. She has also hosted on-air pledge drives at WTTW Channel 11 (PBS) in Chicago, and continues her support of public television and education as host of pledge drives at Eight - KAET TV. Locally, she reports and produces KAET-TV Eight's public affairs program 'Horizonte'.
Nadine has also served in a civil service role when she briefly departed from broadcasting to serve in areas of public relations, freedom of information contract information, business community outreach, and marketing. Her extensive public sector experience extends to Chicago’s Department of Health, Department of Procurement Services, Department of Human Services, as well as elected officials in the Chicago City Council and the U.S. Congress.
She is an Emmy-nominated journalist, and a Telly Award winner. Nadine is a graduate of the nationally-recognized performing arts institution Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. Nadine and her family currently reside in the Valley. She is a huge fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox.
